We are pleased to welcome the Sandkrug Fire Department as an exhibitor at Drone Days 2026.
The Sandkrug Volunteer Fire Department, based in the municipality of Hatten—and thus in the immediate vicinity of the Oldenburg-Hatten Airport—is active in fire prevention, technical rescue, and disaster response. Like many modern fire departments, it is increasingly utilizing drones for reconnaissance and operational support.
The use of unmanned systems in fire and disaster response is one of the most practical applications of drone technology: From the air, it is possible to locate the source of a fire, assess the situation more quickly, and search for missing persons. The Sandkrug Fire Department will be on site to demonstrate how drones can provide concrete support to emergency responders.
