Florian Vogt has served as Head of Flight Operations at the Bremen Aviation Authority since 2012. Since then, his team has actively monitored developments in the field of drones and participates in various national committees as well as a task force at the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). The Bremen Aviation Authority is one of the last state agencies that still handles this specific category under its own jurisdiction. Florian Vogt is also a pilot—he began his flying career in the German Armed Forces and continues to fly aircraft under a private pilot’s license. His goal is the safe yet sensible integration of drones into aviation.
