Dr. Christian Pundt (born in 1973 in Lohne) is a German independent politician and has served as district administrator of the Oldenburg district since November 1, 2021. Prior to that, he was mayor of the municipality of Hatten.
Pundt completed police training in Hann. Münden and was subsequently assigned to the police force in Oldenburg. At the same time, he attended night school and studied at the Lower Saxony University of Applied Sciences for Public Administration and the Administration of Justice, as well as at the University of Hamburg. He earned his doctorate at the University of Bremen and taught criminology part-time at the University of Applied Sciences for Public Administration in Bremen. At the Federal University of Applied Sciences in Münster, he taught leadership and the social science foundations of administrative action.
In 2014, Pundt ran as an independent candidate in the mayoral election in Hatten and was elected mayor.
He ran again as an independent in the 2021 district administrator election, though with the support of the SPD, Alliance 90/The Greens, the FDP, and the UWG Oldenburg.
He won in the first round with about 63% of the vote.
Guido Heinisch has been mayor of Hatt since November 1, 2021. Prior to the election, he held various positions at the Federal Customs Administration over the course of his 36-year career (including press spokesperson, field auditor, internal auditor, and part-time lecturer). On September 26, the residents of Hatt elected him as their new mayor in a runoff election.
As head of the administration, he oversees the work of all employees at City Hall as well as those who work on municipal properties (childcare providers, cleaning staff, janitors, the maintenance department, etc.). In addition, he serves as chair of the Hatter Administrative Committee and as the municipality’s representative.
Guido Heinisch was born on October 14, 1964, in Aurich (East Frisia). He studied at the Education and Research Center of the Federal Finance Administration in Münster and graduated with a degree in public finance.
Tobias Hunger serves as the mayor's general representative at City Hall. He is also the head of the Administrative Services and Education Department.
Rolf Henke is a German engineer, a professor at RWTH Aachen University, and an aviation consultant.
Since February 2021, Henke has served as the “Aviation Coordinator” for the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen.
