We are pleased to welcome Wingcopter—one of Germany’s best-known manufacturers of delivery drones—as an exhibitor at Drone Days 2026.
Wingcopter was founded in 2017 in Weiterstadt, near Darmstadt, in the state of Hesse, and develops and manufactures unmanned delivery drones for commercial and humanitarian applications. The flagship Wingcopter 198 is a vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) transport drone that, thanks to patented swivel-rotor technology, can both take off like a multicopter and cover long distances as efficiently as a fixed-wing aircraft—even in wind and rain. As the world’s first delivery drone with “Triple-Drop” capability, it can deliver to up to three destinations in a single flight. Wingcopter drones are already in use around the world, for example, for the rapid delivery of medical supplies to hard-to-reach regions.
Wingcopter is thus a prime example of one of the largest future markets in unmanned aviation: drone logistics. From supplying rural regions to delivering emergency medical supplies, the company demonstrates the potential of civilian drone use.
