When will drone technology become a real business? On the third day of Drone Days, Friday, August 28, at 10:05 a.m., a panel discussion will address precisely this question—the drone economy.
The industry operates on a scale of billions, yet relies heavily on government-funded projects. However, a market only truly emerges when customers make purchases based on their own economic interests. Where has this point already been reached—in inspection, agriculture, construction, or logistics? And what role do standards, standardization, and CE marking play in market access? Finally, this question is directed not at policymakers, but at the industry itself.
The panel will be moderated by Matthias Brucke (Senior Business Development Expert, Ignite GmbH).
On the panel: Saskia Wegge (Managing Director, BAB Beteiligungs- und Managementgesellschaft Bremen), Ralf Borchers (Managing Director, Investitions- und Förderbank Niedersachsen – NBank), Dr. Martin Nägele (Managing Director, OptoPrecision), Gregor Müller (Managing Director, MD Aircraft GmbH), and Sebastian Noack, M.Eng. (Chief Engineer, Helsing Germany GmbH).
