Hanseatic Aviation Solutions at Drone Days 2026

Hanseatic Aviation Solutions will be an exhibitor at Drone Days 2026

With Hanseatic Aviation Solutions GmbH, we are pleased to welcome a Bremen-based UAS developer and manufacturer as an exhibitor at Drone Days 2026—and, in a sense, a neighbor: The company is headquartered on Hermann-Köhl-Straße at Bremen Airport.

Hanseatic Aviation Solutions (HAS) was founded in 2013 by Michael Schmidt and develops and manufactures unmanned aerial systems for civilian applications—ranging from multirotors to fixed-wing aircraft. The current portfolio includes, among others, the X404, X410, and X824Mk.II multirotor systems, as well as the S360Mk.II fixed-wing aircraft with a mobile ground control station. Hundreds of successful flight hours in the fields of surveying, nature conservation, disaster response, and aerial photography form the basis for the further development of these systems.

HAS has gained national recognition primarily through the LARUS project: In collaboration with the German Maritime Search and Rescue Service (DGzRS), TU Dortmund University, RWTH Aachen University, and OptoPrecision, a drone system for maritime search and rescue was developed and successfully tested over the Baltic Sea. In the follow-up project LARUS-PRO, funded by the BMBF, the system is being further developed for use by emergency services and in disaster response.

We are delighted to welcome Hanseatic Aviation Solutions, an experienced UAS manufacturer from Bremen’s aviation ecosystem, to Drone Days!
