We are pleased to welcome Hamburg Aviation as an exhibitor at Drone Days 2026.
Hamburg Aviation is the aviation cluster for the Hamburg metropolitan region and connects industry, academia, government agencies, and startups working on the future of aviation. A particular focus is on Urban Air Mobility: Through the Windrove drone network, Hamburg Aviation has been bringing together key players in the drone ecosystem since 2017—with the goal of integrating automated flight into urban airspace in a safe, sustainable, and cost-effective manner. As a result, Hamburg has been one of Europe’s first UAM model cities since 2018.
At Drone Days, Hamburg Aviation will be presenting two exciting projects: The Windrove network brings together the metropolitan region’s drone expertise, while the ERDF-funded LogIsInTheAir project connects Hamburg’s logistics and aviation clusters to identify potential applications for drones in logistics and to bring providers and users together. LogIsInTheAir is being implemented jointly by Hamburg Aviation and the Hamburg Logistics Initiative. This makes Hamburg Aviation a valuable partner for supraregional exchange within the northern German drone landscape.
